Simulation Environments for Ecore Library Recommenders

Reuse is a common concept in software engineering. Nowadays, model reuse is paid a great attention because of the model driven development approach. Model reuse can be achieved through the use of model libraries. Although one expects in general reuse to speed up the development process, the search for suitable models in a library with a high number of models could produce the opposite effect. One possibility to avoid that opposite effect is the use of recommender systems. Their application requires however that they use correct recommendation strategies. In this thesis we implement an environment for the simulation of Ecore recommender strategies. This simulation environment should support the developer of new strategies by debbuging and provide enough informations to trace occuring errors.
